La belle vie
So there is life after Paris, despite what the films tell us.
Nevertheless, parisienne style is enviable, although noone can really explain why. It seemed to me most parisiennes just seem to wear tonal colours (as if picked from the same section in Gap), very little jewellery, along with a cup of coffee/an iPhone/a cigarette strapped to their blank face.
Personally, I'd rather go for the look Catherine Deneuve had as Séverine in Belle de Jour.
